On October 29, 2021, GAC Group released an announcement on the approval of the motion on the Independent Development of Cell Trial Production Line. To speed up the industrialization of proprietary cell technology and validate the cell process maturity, product consistency and cost, it's approved that GAC AION New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of GAC Group implements the Project Plan of the Proprietary Cell Trial Production Line, with the planned total investment of RMB 0.336 billion.

GAC AION promotes the construction of the proprietary fuel trial production line, which will greatly drive GAC Group’s electrification pattern.
